Why become a member?


The Burlington Potters Guild is a vibrant group of artists that welcomes all levels of experience from complete beginner to professional. We are a supportive and cooperative environment where ceramic artists of all levels come together to share knowledge, refine their skills, and explore their craft. BPG offers monthly demonstrations, a resource library, and opportunities to showcase and sell work.

BPG is run by its members, with a volunteer Executive Committee that meets ten times per year, to help shape the direction of the Guild.

Guild membership

BPG membership includes a wide range of benefits designed to support your artistic growth and keep our community connected. Specifically:

  • 5% discount card at the Pottery Supply House

  • Monthly meetings with presentations by guest artists

  • Eligibility to participate in Guild workshops

  • Opportunities to attend and participate in all BPG exhibitions, sales, and Guild-sponsored activities

  • Artist profile on the BPG website 

  • Access to the Guild resource webpage

  • Regular updates on Guild activities and important notices (via email and the member resource page)

  • Use of the Guild Library (please remember to sign materials in and out)

  • Potential display opportunities within the community

  • Advance notice of AGB-sponsored classes, when possible

GUILD ACTIVITIES

  • Eight monthly meetings (3rd Tue. of every
    month), with guest ceramic artists who demonstrate
    their skills, and share their inspiration and techniques

  • Two Sales opportunities per year: Arts Burlington Spring and Holiday Sales

  • Kiln training and workshops as well as group firings

  • Other exhibition opportunities

MEMBERSHIP FEES

Membership is from January to December annually.
Annual Member Fees: $45     

Payment can be made by:

NOTE: A Studio Membership to the Art Gallery of Burlington is required to work in the studio. They will be available starting January 2026. You can join the AGB HERE.
