RAKU Firing:

We (your Guild) are doing a Raku firing next week in the afternoon of December 12  (it will begin once the kiln gets up to temperature - about 1:00 pm) before the Guild's potluck (begins at 6:00 pm).  Anyone can take part in this raku firing - all you need are some bisque-fired pieces. 

The Guild has various raku glazes you can use (at a nominal charge of $1 per dip into the glaze bucket).

Potluck Dinner & Annual General Meeting

The Potluck starts at 6:00 pm

Please come out to this and mingle with your fellow guild members.  For new members, this is a good opportunity to meet other members.  Bring a dish - your choice.  

We will also be holding our annual general meeting at the potluck.  We will be voting on the Guild Executive for 2024.  We will also present our financial results up to the end of October (10 months) 2023, because the year has not ended.  Full year results will be presented in the new year, when the financial statements for the year can be completed.
