SPEAKER NIGHT: Natalie Waddell

Natalie Waddell is a Toronto based ceramic artist. Starting her academic ceramic education at Toronto’s George Brown College in 1998, she then attended the Ceramics programme at Sheridan College - School of Craft and Design (2000 to 2003). Natalie has also attended and participated in many workshops with leading ceramic artists including: Robin Hopper, Marc Egan, Akio Takamori, Matt Nolan, Pete Pinnell, Mary Lazier, Jean Pierre Lerocque, Susan Low-Beer, Harlan House, Sam Chung, Wendy Vervoot and Walter Ostrom. Since establishing a private studio practice in 2006, Natalie has taught classes and workshops, while continuously exploring and developing new bodies of work. She is an active member of the Akin Collective, Toronto Potters Association, Potters Guild of Hamilton and Region, FUSION: The Ontario Clay and Glass Association and Craft Ontario. Natalie exhibits and sells her work at the Gardiner Museum Shop as well as other galleries and venues throughout the province.
